Vacant van rolls through Kamloops Dollarama

A Dollarama in Kamloops received an unwanted entrance Tuesday night after a moving van rolled into the storefront.

Kamloops RCMP received a report around 9:20 p.m., July 27, of a van rolling from its parking spot into the window and wall of the Dollarama in Aberdeen on Highway 5A, according to Kamloops RCMP.

There were no injuries reported and the van was unoccupied at the time.

In an emailed statement to iNFOnews.ca, police say they found that the van was not secured properly when parked, leading investigators to believe that either the parking brake failed or it was not secured in the proper gear.
