RCMP were called to a downtown parkade this morning after a maintenance worker reported what appeared to be an explosive device.
The call came around 7 a.m. to police with reports of two items that looked like they had exploded at the Seymour Street location.
RCMP seized multiple items from the scene including what was left of a plastic bottle, a metal tube about six inches long and half an inch in diameter with tape and wires attached.
The parkade was cleared and reopened shortly after.
RCMP and the Explosive Device Unit continue to investigate the matter.
