Vernon RCMP trying to reunite boat with owner

Police in the North Okanagan are looking for the owner of a stray boat found adrift on Okanagan Lake.

Vernon North Okanagan RCMP suspect a sailboat came loose from its mooring during a storm on Friday night, Aug. 6, before it was discovered by a homeowner along Okanagan Lake who secured the boat and called police.

Now that several days have passed, the RCMP have released a photo of the boat in hopes of finding the owner.
