Logan Lake is under evacuation order

Details are still coming in, but the City of Logan Lake is under evacuation order due to the Tremont Creek wildfire.

An order to evacuate was authorized by Logan Lake Mayor Robin Smith at 3:30 p.m., today, August 12.

Residents are advised to leave immediately using these routes: Highway 97C to Merritt with the secondary route Highway 97C to Ashcroft and to not travel on the Meadow Creek road Highway 97D to Kamloops.

Other Agencies will be expediting this action in these areas on behalf of the Order.
