Vernon RCMP ask for help to find man last seen on Okanagan Rail Trail

Police are asking for the public’s help to find a missing 27-year-old man last seen over a month ago.

Brandon Lee Simpson, who also goes by the last name Houle, was last seen walking on the Okanagan Rail Trail in Coldstream, July 24, according to a Vernon North Okanagan RCMP media release. He was wearing a green hoodie, shorts and carrying a black backpack at the time.

RCMP say Simpson’s family has not had contact with him since July.

Police are very concerned about his health and well being, and add his family says it is out of character for him to be out of contact for this long.

RCMP describe Simpson as a 27-year-old Caucasian male, 5’11” tall with a slim build, shoulder-length black hair, brown eyes, with a moustache and a beard.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Brandon Simpson is urged to contact their local police, remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or leaving a tip online at www.nokscrimestoppers.com.
