WEST KELOWNA – An undercover operation has netted a known drug dealer in West Kelowna.
RCMP Const. Kris Clark says Kelly Ross Black, 41, is charged with trafficking a controlled substance and appeared in court earlier this month. He is also charged with aggravated assault from a separate incident and remains in custody. His next court appearance is scheduled for March 24.
Black’s brother, Ronald Kevin Black is also currently wanted on outstanding warrants out of Cranbrook for several offences not relating to the arrest of Kelly Black. Those charges include discharge of a firearm, pointing a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and failure to appear.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Ronald Kevin Black is asked to call their local police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
