Hiding under vehicle no way to escape Kelowna RCMP police dog
Mysan the police dog is getting full credit for nabbing a man arrested for assaulting another man in Kelowna today.
The police dog sniffed out the villain who fled a home in the 300 block of Bach Road after assaulting a person inside just before noon today, Sept. 3, according to an RCMP media release.
The culprit had fled the scene before police arrived and flooded the area with officers so it was up to Mysan to sniff him out.
The victim was treated at the scene for minor, non-life-threatening injuries, RCMP said.
The suspect remains in custody and faces a number of potential charges.
