Lane closures on Okanagan Connector may occur following vehicle accident

Partial closures of Highway 97C may occur this morning due to a vehicle incident.

DriveB.C. is reporting the incident occurred between Terpanier Road and Brenda Mine Road west of Peachland. It originally reported the highway was closed but has since provided updates about the incident.

Emergency vehicles on scene and an assessment in progress. Traffic control is also at the scene.

Eastbound traffic is currently unaffected but lane closures may occur in the westbound lanes as Ministry of Transportation crews repair damage, according to DriveB.C.
