Lake Country RCMP seek help to find missing man

Lake Country RCMP are asking for the public's help to find a missing 58-year-old Lake Country man.

Jan Paleta has not been seen by friends or family since Sept. 15, according to an RCMP media release He was reported missing two days later but he has not turned up in the places he normally frequents.

RCMP describe Paleta as a Caucasian male, 5’ 6” tall, 150 lbs. with grey hair and brown eyes.

He drives a 2004 blue Toyota 4Runner with B.C. licence plate DX0 53X.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Lake Country RCMP at 250-766-2288 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or leave a tip online at www.crimestoppers.net.
