Kamloops fentanyl traffickers targeted by RCMP enforcement unit

Targeted arrests in Kamloops early yesterday led to the seizure of a vehicle and 13 ounces of fentanyl.

Members of the Kamloops RCMP's targeted enforcement unit arrested a man and a woman at a Versatile Drive gas station around 2:30 a.m. yesterday, Sept. 22, according to a press release.

“The targeting of alleged fentanyl traffickers remains a strategic enforcement priority of the Kamloops RCMP,” Insp. Jeff Pelley said in the release. “The impact and removal of this illicit drug will have a positive community impact, preventing potential overdoses.”
