Townhouse fire in Lake Country

LAKE COUNTRY – Drivers along Highway 97 through Lake Country could see a plume of black smoke in the sky.

Fire crews put out a blaze at a townhouse complex Sunday afternoon.

The call came into Lake Country Fire/Rescue at about 12:45 p.m.

Five minutes later it escalated to a two alarm fire when fire crews confirmed the fire had spread to a second car and the end unit of a townhouse complex.

No one was hurt.

Investigators are looking for the cause.
