A dump truck load of garbage was spotted in a Kamloops parking lot today and some residents wondered where it came from.
City of Kamloops workers were at the parking lot in McArthur Island Park today, Sept. 30.
They said a garbage truck driver dropped the load garbage due to problems with the truck and the fear it had caught on fire.
The city workers would not comment further.
Most non-essential city services have been suspended for the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation so no one at city hall was immediately available to comment.
