Cactus Club plans to open restaurant in Vernon next year

Vernon is getting a Cactus Club restaurant, but exactly when and where is still up in the air.

Cactus Restaurants has confirmed plans are in the works to open a Cactus Club in the city next year, but a company spokesperson wouldn't say where the new restaurant will be located.

“We can confirm that we are planning a location in Vernon for next year," said Tory Nash, director of communications at Cactus Club Cafe, in an emailed statement. "We have nothing further to announce at this time, and will be sure to stay in touch as updates become available.”

Cactus Restaurants currently has two locations in Kelowna and has acquired a third location at the former Rose's Waterfront Pub in the city's downtown.

There's speculation in the community the former Temptasian Restaurant and Lounge on Anderson Way could be home to a new restaurant franchise.

The family run eatery closed its doors permanently earlier this year after 13 years in the city.
