UPDATE: Highway 97C reopens following vehicle accident

The Okanagan Connector has reopened this afternoon after an accident caused the road's closure in the westbound direction.

DriveB.C. reported a vehicle incident between the Highway 97 junction and Pennask Summit this morning, Oct. 10.

The road has since reopened.

A weather warning is in effect for the Trans-Canada Highway, Coquihalla and Okanagan Connector today. Highways could see up to 20 cm of snow.
