Kelowna firefighters respond to house engulfed in flames

The Kelowna Fire Department battled flames this morning that had fully engulfed a house.

Fire crews responded to a structure fire on Timberline Road at 5:52 a.m., Oct. 11, according to a press release issued by platoon captain Jarret Dais.

Upon arrival, crews found a two-story residential structure fully involved with fire.

Five trucks and 16 firefighters responded. Firefighters remain on scene this morning and the cause has not been determined.
