UPDATE: Person sent to hospital after accident on Kamloops Overlanders Bridge
One person was sent to the hospital following an accident on the Overlanders Bridge in Kamloops.
According to the city's webcams, emergency vehicles were on scene and the road was partially blocked off in north and southbound directions.
Kamloops Fire Rescue responded this afternoon after a vehicle struck a barrier and rolled onto its roof, said platoon captain Shawn Davidson.
A patient was sent to the hospital with the B.C. Ambulance Service.
The road is now clear, he said.
