UPDATE: Arrest made in downtown bank robbery

KAMLOOPS — A man police suspect of robbing the Scotia Bank on Victoria Street Monday afternoon has been arrested.

Cpl. Cheryl Bush says the robbery occurred just before 3:30 p.m. A lone male approached a teller and demanded cash. While he didn't produce a weapon he did say he had one.

The male made off with cash and nobody was injured.

A 34-year-old man was arrested just after 9 a.m. Tuesday morning and will be in court later in the day.
