VIDEO: Ajax wants more conversation
KAMLOOPS — Ajax Mining Inc. stepped out of the shadows this week with the release of a new video, a commercial that asks the community to focus on a conversation based on scientific facts and real information.
The video was previewed at a private event for supporters on Saturday before being released online Monday. External Affairs Manager Yves Lacasse opens the video talking about the beauty of the city while several supporters of the mine talk about the jobs the project would create.
"Let's keep talking," Lacasse says towards the end. "That's what neighbours do."
The conversation has already started about the video, but because comments for the YouTube video have been disabled supporters and opponents have instead turned to Facebook to either praise or criticize it.
