
Daily COVID case numbers drop below 100 in Interior Health
There were 83 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in the Interior Health region in the last 24 hours, which is one of the lowest daily case count over the past few weeks.
There were 457 new cases in the province as a whole, according to a Ministry of Health news release issued today, Oct. 26.
There were 176 new cases in the Fraser Health region, 82 in Northern Health, 61 in Vancouver Coastal and 55 on Vancouver Island.

There are currently 4,829 active cases in B.C. with 390 people in hospital of whom 155 are in intensive care.
There were two new deaths, one each in Fraser and Northern Health, bringing the provincial total to 2,131.
There are 89.6% of B.C. residents over the age of 12 with at least one dose of a COVID vaccine with 84.5% having received two doses.
For the past week, 56.9% of new cases were in people who were unvaccinated while 36% were in people who are fully vaccinated.
Over the past two weeks, 69.6% of people hospitalized were unvaccinated while 23.8% were fully vaccinated.
