
COVID-19 cases climb in Interior Health region
There were 115 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in the Interior Health region in the last 24 hours.
There were 596 new cases in the province, according to a Ministry of Health news release issued today, Nov. 4.
There were 222 new cases in the Fraser Health region, 159 in Northern Health, 46 in Vancouver Coastal and 54 on Vancouver Island.
There are currently 4,451 active cases in B.C. with 438 people in hospital 130 of whom are in intensive care.
There were eight new deaths, none of which were in the Interior Health Region, bringing the provincial total to 2,200.
There are 90.5% of B.C. residents over the age of 12 with at least one dose of a COVID vaccine with 86.2% having received two doses.
