Emergency crews respond to two separate motorhome incidents on same Kelowna road
Emergency responders were busy this afternoon in Kelowna after a motorhome fire and an overturned motorhome was found about a kilometre apart of one another.
Witness Jeremy Hildred said he saw a motorhome on its side on Old Vernon Road at around 4:10 p.m. this afternoon, Nov. 7. No one appeared to be injured and other people were already calling emergency services, he said.
Another motorhome located along the road was on fire but it was put out by the time Hildred saw it, he said.
The incidents were not related, he said.
The RCMP and Kelowna Fire Department could not be immediately reached for comment, but Hildred said emergency services were on scene when he left.
