Kamloops siblings featured on Family Feud Canada

Two Kamloops siblings and their family will be featured on Family Feud Canada tonight.

Viewers can tune into CBC at 7:30 p.m., Nov. 9, to watch the Achobas compete on the game show hosted by Gerry Dee.

Alfred Achoba and his sister Angela Achoba-Omajali are joined by their three brothers in the episode which was filmed in the spring of this year.

Achoba-Omajali applied for the family to be on the show on a whim, but she hadn't told her brothers until they were actually accepted to audition.

Once she told them, she said they were all excited about the potential to be on the show and challenge themselves.

Achoba, who is known in Kamloops as the executive director of the local Canadian Mental Health Association branch, said the filming experience in Toronto was a thrill.

"I was so excited because I wanted to experience the show. When Angela announced it, I started dancing," Achoba said.

He could not disclose who won between the Achobas and the competing Ploughman family, but Achoba guaranteed it will be a lot of fun.

"We're always united by the merriment of being together," he said.
