Columbia Shuswap Regional District asking for public input on local park development
The Columbia Shuswap Regional District is seeking public input on the park planning and development of the Rose Clifford Community Park, and the undeveloped Lynes Road Community Park.
The regional district has launched two online surveys, with a focus on improvements to the Rose Clifford Community Park for residents and visitors, and how the space can be best utilized.
Survey participants can rank their preferences for potential new amenities and help select their desired locations on a digital map.
The Lynes Road Community Park survey has a focus on creating a vibrant and well-used space on the undeveloped land in Falkland. Residents are also encouraged to suggest park names.
Anyone interested in either park is asked to complete the survey before Dec. 3.
After reviewing the data collected from the surveys, a design plan for each park will be developed and presented to the public for further engagement.
