Last chance to vote for Our Rutland project
KELOWNA – Time is running out for the public to vote on which project they would like to see in the Rutland Town Centre.
The first round of public engagement for ‘$100K Worth of Ideas for Our Rutland’ took place in February, and a short list of suitable plans has been available online since March 11. Residents have until March 23 to cast their votes.
“Twenty five residents participated at an open house to vote for their top two favourites and more than 130 people have connected online,” says project manager Michelle Kam. “We’re reaching out to the community one last time before we identify the final project.”
Proposed projects include enhancements to Aurora Park, a community mural program, a fitness/urban movement park, a public market space and Roxby Park enhancements.
Residents are encouraged to visit Our Rutland at this website with the final project selection announced in early April.
