OKANAGAN – The Vernon Vipers are one game away from winning the seven game playoff series against the Penticton Vees.
The Vees finished the regular season with the most most points in the BCHL Interior Conference standings, while the Vipers sat just a few points behind in third place.
But the Snakes have made a comeback and lead the series 3-games-to-2. Tonight, the Vipers host the game 6 and a win could take them to the next round.
The top four teams in each conference will face off against each other, and the first round winners will meet in the division finals for another best-of-seven series.
The puck drops tonight at 7 p.m. at Kal Tire Place in Vernon. If necessary, a seventh game will be played Saturday night in Penticton.
