New snow making roads slippery; accidents reported in West Kelowna

Road closures have been reported this morning in West Kelowna due to slippery conditions.

Drive B.C. is reporting road closures on Westside Road at Bear Creek Road. Emergency crews are on scene.

Witness Carol Ryan reported to Facebook parts of Highway 97 are closed between Elliot Road and Glenrosa Road this morning, Dec. 6. Drive B.C. is reporting a closure in the northbound lane.

She reported emergency vehicles are "everywhere" and cars and trucks had crashed.
