UPDATE: Highway 1 reopens following vehicle accident near Sicamous

The Trans-Canada Highway has reopened following an accident near Sicamous this morning.

DriveB.C. reported the highway closure east of Sicamous near Mckreacher Road. The road has completely reopened this afternoon, Dec. 19.

A winter storm warning is no longer in effect for Highway 1, from Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass.
