Hundreds queue to see Olympic silver medalist

BIG WHITE – Over 1,000 parents and kids lined up for hours to get a chance to meet Olympic silver medalist Kelsey Serwa.

Saturday’s autograph session at Big White’s Village Centre Mall wrapped up a very busy day for the local Olympian.

She coached 4 ski cross-camps at the resort earlier that day.

Serwa took the silver in women's ski cross at the Sochi Olympics.

Saturday’s event was reminiscent of her homecoming greeting at the Kelowna Airport when she arrived from Russia following the Winter Games.
