TRENDING NOW: B.C. artist featured on Times Square billboard

A Vancouver Island artist whose latest hit has gathered millions of streams has blown up in Times Square.

Lauren Spencer-Smith, from Nanaimo, was shown in Times Square this morning, Jan. 15, beside a massive billboard with her hit Fingers Crossed.

In a previous interview with iNFOnews, Spencer-Smith said she thought the single would do well with its relatable breakup anthem but didn't expect it would soar to the number one spot on iTunes.
