
Kelowna Costco announces Feb. 17 opening date for new store
Costco has confirmed the new store will open Feb. 17 and its got people excited about the move.
The new store is bounded by Baron, Leckie and Springfield roads near Orchard Park mall.
Costco has confirmed the date with iNFOnews.ca.
The company has said it planned to open the new 167,177 square foot store in February with all new products and ship the remaining stock from the old, 135,000 square foot store to other outlets over time.

The company has yet to say what will happen to the old location near the intersections of Highways 33 and 97.

The Costco gas station opened on Dec. 10 and triggered a reduction in gas prices in the city but those have since climbed higher than when it first opened
Gas at most Kelowna stations today, Jan. 28, is $1.52.9 and Costco is $1.46.9, according to GasBuddy.com.
