
Kelowna gas station robbed; employee threatened with knife
Kelowna RCMP are investigating after a gas station was robbed earlier this morning.
Police officers responded to the robbery at roughly 6:45 a.m. today, Feb. 3, at a gas station on Harvey Avenue.
A man entered the store and threatened an employee with a knife before stealing cigarettes and fleeing the scene, according to an RCMP press release.
Kelowna RCMP officers with assistance of a police dog searched the area but didn't find the man.
The suspect is described by police as a Caucasian male in his thirties with brown eyes. He was wearing a grey jacket, brown pants, green gloves and a green mask.
The investigation is ongoing.
