Summerland man enters guilty plea
PENTICTON – A Summerland man has pleaded guilty to a criminal charge stemming from an inappropriate relationship with a minor.
Joshua J. Roberts entered the plea to sexual exploitation from a relationship with a 17-year-old girl that lasted for almost a year. Roberts originally faced five counts from what was described as a consensual relationship that ended just before the girl’s 18th birthday.
The Crown asked for a pre-sentence report and a psychiatric assessment, following which the remaining four counts against Roberts were stayed.
Judge Brad Chapman ordered the assessment to evaluate the "risk going forward.”
A pre-sentencing hearing is scheduled to take place May 27.

Josh Roberts is presently released with conditions, one of which is not to use electronic devices, yet, Friday April 10, 2015 he posted on his Facebook timeline.I guess the law doesn’t apply to him.
