Arrest made in series of break and enters in Kelowna
RCMP have arrested a suspect in connection to a series of break-ins at unlocked homes in Kelowna.
Kelowna RCMP had warned residents of Kelowna's Rutland neighbourhood to lock their doors after a series of break and enters this past weekend.

A 28-year-old suspect was arrested yesterday, Feb. 15, and is currently in police custody awaiting a court appearance, according to an RCMP media release.
The suspect is facing break and enter related charges.
“Our investigators worked around the clock to identify the suspect in these break and enters and advance the investigation,” said media relations officer for Kelowna RCMP Cpl. Tammy Lobb in the release.
“Thank you to the media for assisting us in protecting public safety by publicizing our warning to residents in the Rutland area."
