One person dead after crash on Highway 3

One man has died after his vehicle crashed on Highway 3 this morning near Keremeos.

Keremeos RCMP officers were called to a crash this morning, Feb. 27, on Highway 3, west of Keremeos near Lawrence Ranch, according to the RCMP's press release.

When officers arrived they found the driver, a 32-year-old man, had been ejected from the vehicle and was dead. 

The passenger, a 38-year-old man of no fixed address, suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital.

The cause of the collision is currently under investigation. Highway 3  was closed this morning but has since reopened.
