Multi award-winning artist The Weeknd is coming to Vancouver this summer.

Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, known professionally as The Weeknd, is a Toronto-born singer-songwriter and record producer of R&B, hip hop, alternative and new wave music.

Popular songs like Starboy, Save Your Tears and Can’t Feel My Face have landed The Weeknd three Grammy Awards, numerous Billboard Music and Juno Awards, American Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards and an Academy Award nomination.

He will be performing at B.C. Place Stadium on Tuesday, Aug. 23 at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are available for purchase here but fans need to hurray, they are expected sell out quickly.
