Kamloops RCMP seeks to identify suspect in parking lot brawl

Kamloops police are looking for witnesses to a parking lot brawl and stabbing early Saturday morning.

Two women began fighting inside a pub in North Kamloops and later moved outside into a parking lot and escalated into an assault with a weapon, according to a Kamloops RCMP news release.

“The altercation escalated and one woman allegedly stabbed the other woman, the woman’s companion, and a bystander who tried to break it up," Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Const. Crystal Evelyn said in the release.

Police responded to the 700-block of Sydney Avenue where officers located two women and a man with injuries, around 12:20 a.m., March 12.

A female suspect left with a man in a white truck. She is described as Caucasian with long dark hair. At the time, she was wearing a white Run DMC shirt and jeans, according to RCMP.

The man she was with is described as Caucasian and was wearing a white hoodie.
