Small mudslide knocks power out in Shuswap

SALMON ARM – A mudslide took out trees and power lines on Eagle Bay Road near Salmon Arm Saturday night, but no homes were damage.

The slide was about 30 m wide according to a report by Global Okanagan.

B.C. Hydro crews had the power restored to almost 400 customers early Sunday morning.

The road along the shore of the northern arm of Shuswap Lake is open to traffic.
