TRENDING NOW: Vernon man helps little ducklings and mother duck cross the road

A group of ducklings and their mother were lucky to receive a hand from a Vernon man this weekend while crossing the road.

Lee Waters helped the ducks cross 48th Avenue Saturday morning, April 23.

He decided to pull over and help them across after watching another vehicle almost hit them.

"The mother was determined to make another attempt to cross so I became their escort. I felt like she knew I was there to help," he said.

A video he posted to a Vernon Facebook group gathered hundreds of reactions and nearly 50 comments.
