
Man dead after stabbing in Kelowna: RCMP
One man is dead and another is in custody after a stabbing in Kelowna last night.
Police responded to multiple 911 calls at 8:45 p.m. yesterday, April 25, about a man who was injured at the corner of Highway 97 and Gordon Drive, according to an RCMP press release.
Officers arrived to find a 38-year-old man who was suffering with injuries consistent with stab wounds. He was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

A 28-year-old passerby, who sustained a minor injuries in the incident, was taken to hospital, treated and released.
A 22-year-old man who was arrested at the scene is currently in police custody.
“Investigators have learned there was a verbal altercation between the individuals involved that led to the stabbing," Kelowna RCMP media relations officer Cpl. Tammy Lobb said in the release. "The victims and suspect were not known to one another."
