Two new councillors have been elected to Lytton's council.
Preliminary results from ballots cast in advance, mail-in, and regular polls during Lytton's byelection indicate that Melissa Michell and Ross Urquart will be the town's new councillors.
A byelection was held for two vacant seats on council.
A total of 82 ballots were cast, including vote by mail and in the advance polls, according a press release from the Village of Lytton.
Number of votes cast for all three candidates include: 71 for Melissa Michell, 66 for Ross Urquhart and 24 for Ernie Wagner.
The new councillors will be sworn in at a council meeting on Wednesday, May 11.
Voting for the spring byelection took place at the Kumsheen ShchEma-meet School in Lytton.
