Rick Mercer hosting Just For Laughs Festival when it stops in Okanagan

One of Canada’s favourite political comedians will be the host of Just For Laughs Comedy Tour when it stops into the South Okanagan this week.

Rick Mercer, who was the star of the CBC’s Mercer Report during its run from 2004 to 2018, will be hosting the comedy event at the Cleland Theatre on Tuesday, May 17. The stop in Penticton is one of 18 on the tour.

The lineup has comedians Ramy Dave Merheje who is a co-star of STARZ’s , Just For Laughs favourite Eman El-Husseini, and 2018 Juno award winner Ivan Decker.

Tickets cost $60 each, they can be purchased here, and $1 from every admission will be donated to Movember, to raise awareness for men's health issues.
