A Tesla burst into flames in downtown Vancouver after its driver had to break a window in order to escape when it shut down.
According to a video posted Sons of Vancouver Distillery, the driver's battery died and he became locked inside the vehicle.
The car shut down, saying "error error error" and smoke started billowing out of the vehicle from the battery, according to the driver in the video.
Shortly after he broke the window to escape, flames began to shoot from the Tesla before the fire department arrived.
