VERNON – The Vipers will face the Coquitlam Express in the BCHL final playoff series.
The Express downed the Victoria Grizzlies 4-3 in triple overtime Thursday night to advance to the Fred Page Cup.
Daniell Lange deflected a Marc Biega wrist shot into the net to win the game for the Coquitlam.
Ryan Rosenthal, the Express captain, put the game into overtime when he scored with 59 seconds to go in regulation time.
The Snakes haven’t played for the Fred Page Cup since they won three in a row ending in 2011.
The first two games of the final series will be played at Kal Tire Place in Vernon on April 11 and 12.
Games three and four are in Coquitlam on April 14 and 15, before returning to Vernon for game five on April 17.
If they are needed, it’s back to Coquitlam for game six on April 19 and Vernon for game 7 on April 20.
For tickets you can call the Vipers’ office at 250-542-6022.
