College Half Marathon kicks off on Sunday

The 12th annual Okanagan College Half Marathon, 10 K, and Relay Race goes this Sunday, April 5 in Kelowna.

This year’s course is an out-and-back beginning at the KLO campus.

Runners follow the Abbott corridor into City and Waterfront Park, through the north end, up Mountain to Knox Mountain Park, where they turn around and continue to Gyro park and back to the KLO campus for the finish.

10 K runners start at 8 a.m. (predicted winner to finish at 8:35)

Half Marathon and relay start at 8:15 a.m. (predicted winner to finish at 9:29)

The Pursuit of Excellence Girls Hockey team will have 25 volunteers cheering on runners.
