Travel trailers targeted by thieves

OSOYOOS – Thieves have found soft targets — travel trailers stored in the Lakeshore Drive area.

The RCMP tell us there have been 14 break-ins in the past two week.

The thieves are prying open doors or breaking windows to get into the trailers.

Once inside they steal alcohol and small items.

Anyone whose seen suspicious people in the storage areas are asked to the Osoyoos RCMP at 250-495-7236 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
