
Kamloops RCMP ask for help to identify armed robbery suspect, vehicle
Police are hoping someone recognizes the suspect, and the suspect vehicle, in connection to an armed robbery last week.
Kamloops RCMP are releasing images of the suspect and vehicle used in the robbery in hopes of furthering the investigation.
Police responded to the 300 block of Tranquille Road at around 10 p.m. Sunday, May 29, where an armed man walked into a store and demanded cash and products, according to an RCMP media release. It's believed a dark sedan was used as the getaway car.

“As part of the ongoing investigation, officers have canvassed the area and secured images of the suspect and the black vehicle,” said Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Const. Crystal Evelyn in the release. “If anyone has information about the man, or the vehicle, please contact police as soon as possible.”

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male in his 30s, around 6’1” tall with thick brown eyebrows. He was wearing a black hoody with a white shirt hanging out at the bottom, a green baseball cap, ski mask, blue or grey pants and camo gloves.
He was in possession of a firearm. RCMP do not say what type of firearm.
Anyone with information or video who has not yet spoken with police, is asked to call the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2022-18033.
