One person dead in mobile home fire

WEST KELOWNA – An early morning fire on Westside Road claimed a life today.
West Kelowna Fire Rescue responded to the call at 1525 Westside Road at about 4 a.m. with four engines and 16 firefighters. When they arrived, the mobile home was fully engulfed.
One adult was found dead, but the person's gender hasn't been determined. As well, firefighters found a dead pet.
The fire is out but the cause is unknown at this time.
A B.C. Coroners Service investigation begins today.
