Kamloops store robbed at gun point

Kamloops RCMP is looking for a suspect following an armed robbery that took place in the North Shore Sunday night.

A man entered a store in the 100-block of Tranquille Road at around 7:50 p.m., according to the Kamloops RCMP's press release.

He then produced what appeared to be a handgun and demanded cash. He then fled westbound towards the Overlander Bridge on a small red mountain bike with white handlebars.

The male is described as six-foot-one inches in height, with a medium complexion, with a possible tattoo on his right hand.

He was wearing a green mask, a navy blue Rawlings hoodie with a white stripe on the arms, a black hat, black shoes, and grey sweat pants.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, or may have surveillance or dash cam footage, is asked to please contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2022-18979.
