KAMLOOPS – A man has died after he failed to properly negotiate a curve and lost control of his ATV on Greenstone Mountain Saturday.
The B.C. Coroners Service says Joshua William Pollard Zapf was operating his quad ATV on the mountain around 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, when he failed to make a curve. He left the roadway and went into trees.
His companions immediately called for help and he was transported to Royal Inland Hospital. He succumbed to his injuries the next day.
Greenstone Mountain is a popular area for dirt bikers and ATV riders just west of Kamloops.
