TRENDING NOW: State troopers didn’t expect to be attacked by an excavator

These two Vermont state troopers weren't expecting this.

A father jumped into an excavator and, in an effort to prevent his son's arrest, attacked the officers.

The troopers weren't hurt during the dramatic arrest, according to the local TV station that posted the video to YouTube, and they eventually took both father and son into custody.
